Terms of Service
Effective date: 22 July 2026
EnglishBahasa Melayu
1. The service
LazyBook (https://www.lazybook.app) helps you understand, plan, create, schedule and manage content for Facebook Pages you are authorized to manage, using Meta's official APIs. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. LazyBook is operated by an independent software operator based in Malaysia ("we", "us"); contact syazwan.sarawak@gmail.com.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, able to form a binding contract, and — for Facebook features — hold a Facebook account in good standing. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
3. Workspaces and teams
Workspaces may have multiple members with different roles. The workspace owner is responsible for who is invited, what roles they hold, and how the workspace uses connected Pages and data.
4. Connected Facebook Pages
You may connect only Facebook Pages you genuinely have authority to manage. Connecting a Page you are not authorized to manage, or exceeding the authority granted to you (for example by an employer or client), is a breach of these Terms. You are responsible for complying with Meta's Terms of Service, Community Standards, Commerce and Advertising Policies for everything done on your Pages. LazyBook depends on Meta's platform: features may change, degrade or become unavailable when Meta changes its APIs, permissions or policies, and we are not responsible for Meta's decisions about your account or Pages.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LazyBook to: send spam or engage in inauthentic engagement practices; impersonate any person or organization; publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content; harass or abuse others; attempt unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; scrape or harvest data outside official APIs; or automate actions in ways that violate Meta's policies. We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in these activities.
6. AI-generated content
LazyBook can draft and transform content using AI. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You must review everything before publishing. You — not LazyBook — are responsible for all content you publish, including its factual accuracy, legality, compliance with advertising and consumer-protection rules (including any sector-specific rules that apply to your business), and compliance with Meta's policies. LazyBook does not guarantee any performance outcome (reach, engagement, sales or otherwise) from any content or recommendation.
7. Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you create, upload or connect. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, display and transmit that content solely to operate the service for you (including sending selected content to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy). The LazyBook software, brand and design are our intellectual property; these Terms do not grant you any rights in them beyond using the service.
8. Subscriptions and billing
Parts of LazyBook may be offered under paid plans. Prices and inclusions will be shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. Where required by law, applicable taxes are added at checkout.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or remove features, and may impose reasonable usage limits to protect the platform. We will not remove core paid functionality during a paid period without a proportionate remedy.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the Data Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, risk to the platform or other users, or where required by law or by Meta. Where practicable we will warn you first.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Analytics, scores and recommendations are informational estimates, not guarantees or professional advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or MYR 100 if you have paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from content you publish, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of Meta's policies, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The effective date above reflects the current version; material changes will be announced in the application before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
